§ 12-4. Restaurants, public eating places, etc.

  • All boardinghouse keepers, butchers, hotels, restaurants, dining rooms, grocery stores, and other premises where garbage and putrescible waste accumulate, shall place such solid waste in an appropriate collection container approved by the administrator. Such collection container shall be kept in a place easily accessible to the contractor, but never upon any street or sidewalk. Such collection container shall be thoroughly cleaned by the owner after it has been emptied by the contractor. For purposes of this section 12-4, the collection service shall include a minimum of two (2) pickups per week and in no event shall the solid waste generated remain on the premises for more than four (4) consecutive days.
