§ 17-8. Enforcement under police powers; service of notices and orders; hearings.

The provisions of this chapter shall be enforced under the police powers of the city and by any method under state law; provided, however, that the sunrise code enforcement special magistrate, or unsafe structures board shall have supplemental jurisdiction to enforce any of the provisions of this chapter in conformity with the provisions of F.S. Chapter 162 and Chapter 202, Florida Building Code, Broward County Edition, respectively.
