§ 5-93. Special revenue funds.

  • (a)

    Drainage district fund. This fund is established to account for the construction and operation of a system of canals, reservoirs and pumping stations throughout the city. Revenues are primarily obtained from ad valorem taxes.

    (b)

    Fuel and roadway fund. This fund is established in accordance with F.S. § 336.59 to account for the city's share of the road and bridge tax. Funds are limited in use to maintenance of roads and streets within the city. Revenues are from road and bridge taxes and transfers from other funds.
