§ 4-27. Impoundment of dog running at large.

If any dog shall run at large within the corporate limits of the city, proof of the identity of such dog, and the ownership thereof, or the person having charge or control thereof, shall be sufficient to charge the person having ownership or having care of or control of such dog of violating the terms and provisions hereof, and the dog shall be picked up by any police officer of the city, animal control officer of the county or any official dogcatcher of the city.
