§ 2-221. Created; membership; duties.

  • There is hereby created a safety board committee, the membership of which shall consist of the safety director, the city engineer, the supervisor of public works, the supervisor of utilities and a liaison person from the police department and the fire department, or their designees. The duties of the members shall consist of inspecting, inventory and evaluation of all emergency equipment within the city and reporting upon the quantity, quality and condition thereof from time to time to the administration and city commission in order that the status of effectiveness of all such equipment, as well as the needs of various city departments, shall be made known on current basis.
