§ 2-118. Jurisdiction.

(a)

The jurisdiction of the special magistrate appointed by the city commission to hear cases brought by code inspectors shall include violations of any city ordinances or the City Code and any code or state statute incorporated into the City Code by reference occurring within the City of Sunrise.

(b)

Those code enforcement board cases on appeal to the circuit court or then pending before the code enforcement board, as evidenced by a notice of violation having been issued or by the matter having been set for hearing before the code enforcement board, shall be heard by the special magistrate.
