§ 2-237. Organizational matters.

(a)

Following the appointment of the members of the education advisory board, the board shall convene in January of each year and a chairman shall be selected by a majority vote of the board members.

(b)

The leisure services department shall provide administrative and clerical assistance to the board and shall advertise meetings of the board.

(c)

The board shall meet not less than once each month. All meetings of the board shall be held in accordance with the requirements of F.S. § 286.011 et seq.

(d)

Meetings will be held to act upon an agenda drawn up by the leisure services director of the city or designee.

(e)

A quorum shall consist of seven (7) voting members. The affirmative vote of a majority of those voting members shall be required to take any board action.
