§ 2-32. Cancellation; matters involving public hearings; continuations.

  • (a)

    If in the determination of the mayor there is not sufficient business to warrant the calling of a meeting as provided in this division, then meetings to be held on any day as provided in this division may be canceled. At least one (1) commission meeting shall be held each month.

    (b)

    Meetings may be recessed upon majority vote of the commission upon any motion made to recess the meeting, which motion shall set forth the date and time of reconvening the meeting. Recesses shall be deemed to be a continuation of the same meeting and not an interval between the final adjournment of one (1) meeting and the convening of another.
