Rate schedules for each utility adopted pursuant to Ordinance No. 242, as amended
from time to time, may be amended by resolution of the city commission upon public
notice and at least one (1) public hearing by reference to the affected schedule and
utility service, and it shall not be necessary to amend this article, or any part
thereof, nor to cause publication as required in the case of an enactment or amendment
of an ordinance. No other city official or staff has any authority to deviate from
the rate schedules and charges adopted by the city commission. When enacted, these
resolutions shall become exhibits to Ordinance No. 242, but shall not be codified.
Upon adoption of these resolutions the affected codified schedules shall be deleted
from the city code. Copies of the schedules shall be maintained and available for
public review by utility customer service, and to the extent practical, shall be accessible
on the city web-site.
