§ 14-33. Loads of explosives or combustible material.

  • (a)

    No truck of any size or description which is carrying, aside from its own fuel, any explosive or combustible material shall be parked overnight anywhere other than wholly within the garage or carport of its owner; however, that the garage or carport in which the truck shall be parked shall contain no appliance, machinery or other apparatus of any kind which could ignite such explosive or combustible material.

    (b)

    If such garage or carport does contain an apparatus which could ignite the explosive or combustible material, the truck will be parked either outside of the city limits or within an area specifically designated by this city for the parking of trucks carrying explosive or combustible material. The word "overnight" is hereby defined as being "a period of not more than four (4) hours between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m."
